Sarah Huebsch, oboe, performs on historical and modern oboes throughout North America. This summer, Sarah co-directed a series of pre-show concerts and lectures about music in Elizabethan England shows of Indiana Festival Theatre’s production of Twelfth Night. This season, Sarah will direct  “Ich bin vergnügt mit meinem Glücke” (BWV 84) as part of the Bloomington Bach Cantata Project. Sarah has performed with the Washington National Cathedral Baroque Orchestra (Washington, DC), Washington Bach Consort (Washington, DC), Spire Baroque Orchestra (Kansas City), Callipygian Players (Chicago), Ensemble Lipzodes (Ecuador), Bourbon Baroque (Louisville), Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, Grand Harmonie (Boston), New Comma Baroque (Chicago), and Pittsburgh Baroque Ensemble, among others.  Sarah holds degrees from the New England Conservatory and Indiana University, where she is currently pursuing doctoral studies in historical performance, music history, and music theory.
