Bach in Motion

Chatham Baroque’s annual J.S. Bach program explores music, movement, and meditation, featuring the motet Lobet den Herrn, alle Heiden (BWV 230), the evocative cantata Actus Tragicus (BWV 106) for four voices and a rare ensemble of recorders, violas da gamba, and continuo, alongside the D Minor Partita (BWV 1004) for solo violin and dancer, where sound becomes movement in the Chaconne.
