Gut, Wind & Wire: A casual mini-concert
On Friday, November 17, 7:30 PM, members of The Baltimore Consort will perform, Gut, Wind & Wire at the Original Pittsburgh Winery. Gut Wind & Wire is a casual mini-concert of Sixteenth Century England, Scotland, and France, and chat about their extraordinary array of instruments. Baltimore Consort’s Lutenist extraordinaire Ronn McFarlane will be joined by Chatham Baroque’s Scott Pauley for a set of Elizabethan lute duets.
With live narration by Emmy Award winner (and television and radio personality) Robert Aubry Davis, this program features Scottish, French, Italian, and English music, illustrating the different periods in the life of Mary, Queen of Scots.
